Red Bell Pepper Pasta

This recipe is from my friend Michelle Russell.  She was an excellent cook and shared this with us one cooking group.  It's absolutely delightful!


3-4 Red bell peppers
1 qt. heavy whipping cream
1 qt. spaghetti sauce (Classico Tomato and Basil)
Crushed red pepper
Angela Hair pasta
Fresh Basil
Conecuh (or hot links/sausage)

Broil red peppers, turning them until they are completely dark and broiled, place in a plastic bag for the completion of steaming.

Once steamed, peel and deseed, place in blender with whipping cream.  Blend.

In a large saucepan, add spaghetti sauce, cream mixture and simmer on medium heat until sauce is thick.  Add basil and crushed red pepper.

Prepare noodles.  Cut and saute sausage.

Serve noodles with sauce and sausage
